- Booking Procedure
- $50 an hour for tracking sessions
- Minimum two hours to book a tracking session
- 50% Down payment to book
- Down payment fully refundable if cancellation is within 36 hours of session date
- Discounted rates apply when booking in 4 and 8 hour intervals, 4 hours at $175, 8 hours at $350
- Optional 15 minute break for 4 hours or more, 30 minute break for 8 hours
- Session Procedure
- We strive to bring the same level of professionalism present in the commercial studios while maintaining the privacy and atmosphere present in the home studio experience. We expect every artist to return the same level or respect to the space and engineers.
- While our services and craft go above and beyond the typical private studio experience, our home studio is located in the heart of residential Raleigh, and our rates reflect the nature of the environment. Our room is treated and isolated professionally, however we are susceptible to the ‘very’ rare instance of extreme noise from outside the studio. Traffic won’t impede our workflow, but the fire department going by may require getting a fresh take.
- Sessions will not be extended due to such an incident spare extreme instances up to the discretion of the engineer.
- Our studio is a cozy, private space that allows the artist to create any atmosphere that fits their vision. We allow artists to drink and partake in whatever suits the atmosphere, as long as the space and session procedure is respected.
- We reserve the right to terminate any session at any point without refund if we feel that studio procedure is being violated.
- Due to size constraints present in private studio environments, we require a confirmation of headcount (artists, friends, and family) ahead of session time. We reserve the right to limit the total number of bodies in the studio to preserve session comfort and workflow.
- Commission Structure
- We offer cutting edge production, mixing, and mastering based on a commission structure.
- Each mix and master individually come with an initial first pass as well as 3 additional rounds of revision. Additional revisions are set at a flat rate of $50.
- Mixing Rates: $100 for a two track mix (no instrumental stems), and $150 for multitrack stem mix (fully stemmed out instrumentation).
- Mastering rate is $100 a master
- Bulk rates apply for mixing and mastering as such;
- Bulk mix rates: 4 two track mixes for $350, 10 two track mixes for $800. 4 multitrack mixes for $500, 10 multitrack mixes for $1300
- Bulk master rates: 4 masters for $300, 10 masters for $800
- Production (in session, back catalogue, or direct order) varies with each producer and each production. In session production is booked with an hourly rate in conjunction with a flat production rate. Reach out to your producer specifically to discuss your production budget and workflow, and we will make it happen!
- If you are looking to book more than an advertised bulk rate, or would like to inquire about an unspecified combination of work and potential discounted rates, please reach out to us and we will be more than happy to discuss accommodation.
- Generalized Studio Ediquitte
- The client is responsible for all guests they choose to bring to their session. If any guests are disregarding studio policy or disrespecting the space we reserve the right to terminate any session without refund.
- We operate a home studio; people live here. We are happy to go above and beyond in accommodating your session in our home, and in turn expect each session to be conducted with respect to our home and residents.
- Please park in our driveway for both your convenience as well as neighborhood traffic.
- Unless discussed with the engineer, we expect all clients and guests to remain in the studio during the session.
- Generalized Accomadation
- We put pride into curating a space and energy that benefits your session. We are more than happy to have your favorite drink in the fridge or video games loaded up in the studio; let us know in advance if you have any requests and we will accommodate as best we can.
